The Store

The Store, a small grocery store located in GuVo Village of GuVo District, opened on January 13th of 2018. NAAF, HPC, and GuVo District members helped start The Store in an effort to address the issue of food scarcity in GuVo District. In addition, The Store also serves as a social space to regularly host alcohol and substance-free community events. The Store is a nonprofit run by limited staff, volunteers, and interns. In addition to providing access to food, The Store also provides a resource for job training. Proceeds generated by The Store help maintain this service, and all profits are poured back into helping run the many educational programs offered by NAAF.

 

In May of 2018, The Store opened The Grill, which has breakfast, lunch, and dinner available for purchase.
